What should i bring to lonesome road

Lonesome Road brings the Courier 's story full circle when you are contacted by the original "Courier Six," a man by the name of Ulysses , a former frumentarius of Caesar who refused to deliver the platinum chip at the start of the main storyline in Fallout: New Vegas. In his transmission, Ulysses promises the answer as to why, but only if the Courier takes one last job; a job that leads them into the great depths of the Divide , a landscape torn apart by frequent earthquakes and violent storms.

This is the fabled location of the battle between the Courier and Ulysses. The first quest in this expansion begins with The Reunion. Fallout Wiki Explore. Fallout games. Part of me wants to finish the Hoover Dam battle first though, so at least I'll have completed my NCR storyline, and my first playthrough on Hardcore from the beginning I'm right at that point anyway.

Forgot about ED-E, he'll come in handy to carry stuff around for me. User Info: nagacorn. SoulOfFayth posted These weapons seem redundant with each other, mostly efficient single shot weapons. Generally with LR you want a sniping weapon for the deathclaw areas, a massive DPS weapon for tunnelers and good midrange single shot for marked men. Alright I'll look into the massive DPS weapon tonight then.

Maybe I'll get another rifle or gun that has good single shot damage, I'll look around. Though honestly I know that the MF Hyperbreeder will explode anything so I'm not really that worried about coming up short. I only keep it as a backup because honestly it gets too easy using it too much, and I like using a variety of guns, though with this build I use only laser rifles and revolvers. Well goddamn so far some areas are really kicking my ass.

Got to where I launched that missile, opening up the Courier's Mile. So far I'm mostly relying on my laser rifle, the tunnelers I had to take care of I did with my MF hyperbreeder or Tri-beam. Really enjoying it though, just gotta be careful where you step into. Went into a trailer to look for stuff, suddenly a Deathclaw jumped on top of it. Went into a house to look for a place to sleep, suddenly it was surrounded by Tunnelers. I found an anti-matrial rifle on one of the Marked Men, I'll see about repairing that, getting some more ammo, and see how that works out.

How does Red Glare work against Deathclaws? Oh yeah, stepped into the Courier's Mile for a bit, radiation ate me in 10 seconds, barely escaped in time. But now it's a mission for me to get through there so I'm gonna take the rad resist perk, grab my spacesuit and a bunch of Rad-x and see how far I'll get.

This armor has a unique appearance that includes a bear on its shoulder and an NCR paint job. Additionally, the Sierra Power Armor grants a few unique effects, including extra health and fire resistance. The plot of Lonesome Road is confusing because there are a lot of unknowns about how exactly and why exactly the region was destroyed. The story is that the NCR found an item they believed would activate if brought to the Divide. However, it was unclear what this object would actually do once it was brought there.

As such, the NCR hired the Courier to deliver this object to the Divide, and it turned out to be a detonator that destroyed the region. It's easy to completely miss this backstory in its entirety, and it's particularly notable that an organization that usually brings order accidentally destroyed a large region where many people lived.
